order to individuate only the very best bunches |
WINEMAKING AND AGEING
Traditional
with crushing-stemming and prolonged maceration. 12 months in oak casks.
The meticulous selection of the grapes and refining in casks qualify this
wine as ÒsuperioreÓ |

WINE
CHARACTERISTICS
It maintains a deep ruby red colour, with slightly violet tints, and pervasive
and persistent aromas reminiscent of the violet. The long period in casks
creates a pleasant balance between body and acidity, giving a smooth velvety
wine. ÒBarbera dÕAsti SuperioreÓ is ideal with elaborate soup and pasta
dishes, red and white meats and cheeses. Serve at a temperature of 16-18¡C |

WINE CGARACTERISTICS
Pale straw yellow with bright greenish tints. The bouquet is pervasive and
complex with scents of aniseed and fresh hay. The flavour is dry, very fragrant
with pleasantly bitter notes, harmonious with a lingering, silky consistency.
It evolves well for several years. Serve at a temperature of 8-10¡C. Ideal
with hors dÕoeuvres, shellfish and other fish dishes, as well as being an
excellent aperitif |
