| BARBERA D'ASTI D.O.C. SUPERIORE "Nizza" | |
| "Nizza"
is a Barbera d'Asti Superiore wine produced in a small area surrounding
Nizza Monferrato, made up of 18 municipalities. The grapes exclusively come
from old vineyards high up on hillsides with exposure at midday. The yield
is restricted to less than 70 quintals per hectare, equal to 48 hectolitres
of wine. These are the essential conditions for creating this well-structured
wine. Fining in large oak barrels allows for a fully matured and well-balanced wine. |
